Caterpillar Toddler Room

Gentle encouragement for toddlers from 18months to 36months.

In Caterpillars we have a combination of structured activities and free play throughout the day. The main aim is to provide a fun, safe and stimulating environment which offers gentle encouragement, as the children in our care move from being inquisitive babies to independent toddlers.

Caterpillars is split into 2 main rooms, Red Room and Green Room, allowing the needs of all children to be met. With home corners, messy play, Montessori materials and a whole host of other activities during the day, the life of a caterpillar toddler is a busy one!

With a secure and dedicated outdoor area there are lots of opportunities for outdoor play, allowing children to explore the mysteries of the great outdoors, drive a truck or simply whizz down a slide or two.

If that is all too much there are comfy rest areas where our children can recharge their batteries in readiness for the afternoon activities.

For those children who stay until 6pm there is a light tea of sandwiches and fresh fruit with just enough time to fit in another hour of play and discovery before home time!
